South Central Community Services Department
The most numerous and varied services provided by the Agency are provided in the Community Services Department. Following the purchase of the Chatham YMCA in 1979, services expanded to include athletic, recreational and educational programs for community residents. These activities are ongoing. Community Services' programs and services are reviewed annually and enhanced often in an effort to address the many and ever-changing needs in the community, while building character, pride, and self-confidence in its participants. Summer Camp
When: June thru August
Monday thru Friday

FULL DAY: 7:30am - 6:00pm
HALF DAY: 8:00am - 12:00pm or
12:00pm-4:00pm

Sports and Recreation
The Sports & Recreation program provides innovatie sports and recreation to community youth during out-of-school time. Activities include basketball, softball, soccer, flag football, and City cultural tours.
Brag Club for Seniors
The Brag Club offers weekly socialization, cultural and recreational activities for adults age 55 and over. These individuals volunteer their time, expertise and experience in support of South Central’s programs and services. Their motto is “After age 55 we have something to brag about.”
