DIRECTOR of PROGRAMS
Job Description
Under the direct Supervision of the Director of Operation s the Director of Programs is responsible for the direct supervision of all Program Staff.
Meet with the Assistant Coordinator and Program staff to ensure quality program for all participants/clients.
Develop Program budgets
Apply change risk and resource management principles when needed.
Provide processes for monitoring performance and collaborating with program teams to determine ways to improve
Provide ongoing recruitment for the all programming.
Assist in the recruitment of programmatic staff.
Ensure that all programs have the necessary equipment and supplies to carry out the daily task of the program.
Ensure that the facility is conducive for all program operations.
Build relationships with families to strengthen and promote social and emotional growth in youth.
Create a monthly calendar, including daily schedule and special events.
Communicate with schools to create a positive relationship with school personnel.
Provide a Monthly report on all Program operations to the Directors of operations.
Ensure programs are delivered on time with budget and according to quality standards
Develop new programs and participate in grant development for new programming
JOB REQUIREMENTS*
Minimum of a BA, MA preferred
7-10 years related experience with progressive responsibility in program project management
Experience managing budgets for multiple projects
Knowledge of current program methods and best practices
Microsoft Office Word & Excel,
