Child & Adolescent Massage Program

The Wellness Center received funding in June 2005 for the Child & Adolescent Massage Program. This program provides alternative therapy --- massage therapy --- to aggressive adolescents and adolescents with a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The massage therapy is provided to help lower the client’s anxiety and to lessen their hostility and aggression.

The Wellness Center

The Wellness Center offers services and provides programs that enhance the productivity of individuals and businesses. South Central believes that having healthy employees is equal to increased production in the workplace. The Wellness Center offers a full range of massage therapy services that include, seated, deep tissue and sports massage and reflexology; a corporate wellness program that provides seated massage services to local businesses; workshops and training; and pamper parties. At South Central when you “invest in your wellness, you invest in the life of a child”, as all proceeds from the Wellness Center programs support the Agency’s youth services programs.
